Getting Started

How do I join Riafin as an advisor?
Register at `/pro/account/sign_up`. You'll need to provide your professional registration credentials (SEBI RIA, FPSB CFP, CFA, CA, IRDA, AMFI, or other recognized certification) and complete our verification process.
What documents do I need to register?
You'll need: Your professional registration certificate (SEBI RIA, FPSB CFP, CFA, CA, IRDA, AMFI, or other relevant license), and Aadhaar or passport for ID verification.
How long does verification take?
Verification typically takes 10-15 business days. Once submitted, our team reviews your documents and credentials. You'll receive email notifications about your application status.
What professional certifications are accepted?
We accept multiple professional certifications including: SEBI Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), FPSB Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) license, AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor, and other recognized financial certifications. The certification should be relevant to the services you provide.
What is the vetting process?
All advisors undergo a 6-point vetting: professional registration verification (SEBI RIA, CFP, CFA, CA, IRDA, etc.), credentials validation, experience verification, background checks, client communication assessment, and fiduciary compliance verification.
Is there a cost to join?
The Free plan lets you access basic features. Paid plans (Bronze ₹9,990/yr, Silver ₹19,990/yr, Gold ₹39,990/yr) unlock more leads and features.

Leads & Prospects

What are the different lead types?
There are three types: Unmatched leads (general leads available to all advisors), System-matched leads (algorithm-matched with 72-hour cooling period), and Meeting-booked leads (high-intent leads who have already scheduled consultations).
How does the 72-hour cooling period work?
System-matched leads have a 72-hour cooling period before advisors can purchase them. This gives users time to book meetings with matched advisors first. After 72 hours, the lead becomes available for purchase by matched advisors.
Can I purchase leads immediately?
Unmatched and Meeting-booked leads can be purchased immediately. System-matched leads require waiting 72 hours after the match is created.
How do system-matched leads differ from unmatched leads?
System-matched leads are algorithm-matched based on user preferences and requirements. They have higher intent as users have already been matched with you. Unmatched leads are general leads available to all advisors without any matching criteria.
What determines lead pricing?
Lead pricing depends on several factors: lead type (unmatched, system-matched, meeting-booked), user wealth tier, completeness of user profile, and demand. Meeting-booked leads are typically priced higher due to their high intent.
How do I improve my lead quality?
Complete your profile with detailed credentials and specializations, maintain a high response rate to leads, collect positive client reviews, and upgrade to higher subscription plans for better lead access and matching algorithms.
Can I get refunds for leads?
No, all lead purchases are final and non-refundable. Lead purchases include access to user contact information and questionnaire responses. We recommend reviewing lead details carefully before purchasing.
How much do leads cost?
Lead pricing varies based on type and quality. Check the `pro/dashboard/prospects`, `pro/dashboard/system_matched_prospects`, `pro/dashboard/meeting_booked_prospects` pages for current pricing. Free leads (unmatched retail only) may be available under your subscription's lead allocation.

What subscription plans are available?

CRM & Management

How do I manage leads in the CRM?
Go to `/pro/dashboard/leads` to track your leads. Update status (New Lead, Contacted, Engaging, Follow Up, Converted, Closed Lost) and add notes for each lead.
How do I add notes to leads?
Open any lead from your CRM dashboard and scroll to the Comments (Notes) section. Click "Add Comment" to record important details about conversations, client preferences, or follow-up actions. Comments on each lead are private and only visible to you.
What's the difference between lead statuses?
  • New Lead: Recently purchased lead, no contact yet
  • Contacted: Initial contact made with the lead
  • Engaging: Active discussion or consultation in progress
  • Follow Up: Awaiting response or scheduled follow-up
  • Converted: Successfully acquired as a client
  • Closed Lost: Lead did not convert to a client
Can I export my leads data?
Currently, bulk export functionality is not available. You can view individual lead details in your CRM. For bulk data requests, contact our support team at prosupport@riafin.com.
How do I view order history?
All lead purchases are logged at `/pro/dashboard/orders` with payment status and details.

Profile & Reviews

How do I update my profile?
Edit your profile at `/pro/dashboard/advisor/edit`. Include your photo, bio, locations, licenses, specializations, and other details.
How do I improve my profile visibility?
Complete all profile sections with detailed information, add professional credentials and certifications, upload a professional photo, respond promptly to leads, and maintain positive client reviews. Higher subscription plans also offer increased visibility.
How do client reviews work?
Clients can leave reviews after working with you. You can approve at `/pro/dashboard/reviews`.
Can I respond to negative reviews?
No, you cannot respond publicly to reviews. However, you can request edits if the review contains inaccurate information. Contact support if you need to address concerns about a review.
How are reviews verified?
All reviews are verified to ensure authenticity. Clients can only leave reviews after completing a consultation with an advisor. Our team monitors for suspicious activity and removes fake or policy-violating reviews.

What browsers are supported?
We support the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. For the best experience, please ensure your browser is updated to its latest version.
I can't access my dashboard. What should I do?
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies. If the issue persists, contact prosupport@riafin.com with details of the error.
How do I reset my password?
Go to `/pro/account/forgot_password` to request a password reset link.
How do I update my contact information?
Update your contact information in the profile settings at `/pro/dashboard/advisor/edit`. This includes your email, phone number, and business address. Changes may require re-verification for security purposes.
